 Apple had been advertising the Macbook Pro as the world's "Greenest Family of Notebooks."  Dell who has been working on their green image complained to the Better Business Bureau.  The BBB then recommended Apple change the headline to "Greenest Lineup of Notebooks."

Lately, Dell has taken the lead in recycling.  Meanwhile Apple MacBook ads touted its recyclability, reduced packaging, less toxic materials and increased energy efficiency.

However, Dell claimed that Apple does not, establish superiority over all of its competitors in all four pillars to support its broad superiority claim.
